Why was my task cancelled?

After you request are sent in, content goes through a screening process to ensure the highest stick rate, similar to the risk rate that shown to users. However not all requests can be fulfilled due to multitude of reasons causing it to get cancelled. A task can be cancelled if it can’t be posted on Reddit or Engain team manually cancels due to subreddit rules or technical limits.

Common reasons:

• Banned words or phrases

The subreddit blocks certain words, making the comment or post impossible to publish.

• Character limit exceeded

The text is longer than what the subreddit allows.

• Image required

The subreddit or post type requires an image, but only text was provided.

• Inactive or restricted subreddit

The subreddit is locked, restricted, inactive, or requires manual approval before posting.

• Link issues

Links are not allowed in that post type, or the subreddit blocks links entirely.

• Subreddit-specific rules

Each subreddit has its own rules that may prevent the task from being completed.

Note:

Subreddit rules change often, so a task may be cancelled for reasons not listed above.
