I am new and after getting my first client uploaded I ran into these questions for a local dentist I will be posting for:
New Opportunities: I'm seeing posts with high relevance scores, some as high as 95, but none of them are in our target geo area. A good example is a post asking whether a general dentist can place an implant for a lower first molar. Should I still be commenting on threads like this using the recommended response, even when they're not location-specific?
SEO Opportunities: Same geo question applies here. Also, what's the right approach for these threads? Are we dropping a brand mention, a direct link, or both?
Competitor Mentions: I added 8 competitors for this practice and only one showed any mentions, and that was back in 2023. Is there anything actionable I should be doing with that data at this point?
Smart Search: The only searches pulling relevant results are broad city terms like Dallas TX or Grand Prairie TX, and nearly all of those posts are from 2025 or earlier. Should I be commenting on older threads, or is there a better search strategy I should be using?
The bigger question across all of this: does it make sense for a local dental practice to engage on threads that aren't geographically specific to their area? I want to make sure we're using the platform the right way before we start posting.
Thank you ahead of time!
Mike
