What's New In Engain (4th of November 2026)

🚀 New Features

  • Engain Health: A new Engain health section in the sidebar shows how the Engain network is performing right now. Each source shows a status of Healthy, Moderate, Strained or Gathering data, based on how readily tasks are published.

  • Post Flair in the API: API tasks now accept an optional postFlair, so your posts go out with the flair the subreddit expects.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Refunds to the Right Person: Refunds now go back to whoever paid for the task, even if the task's creator has since left the team.

  • Upvote Goals: Changing a task's upvote goal now always goes through the campaign editor.

  • Export CSV: Export now downloads the list your Posted by filter shows.

  • Votes Filter: Subreddits from vote campaigns now appear in the Votes subreddit filter and search.

  • Rebuilt Tasks: A rebuilt task now shows its own status, with the replacement task's status shown underneath.

  • Saved and Rejected Posts: Saving a rejected or replied post no longer shows a "Restored" badge.

  • Inactive Keywords: Turned-off keywords no longer look disabled. You can still edit, delete or turn them back on.

✨ Improvements

  • Project Switching: A loading screen now shows while you switch projects, so you never see the old project's data.

  • Agent Progress: The agent now shows a loader while it reads posts and fetches comments.

  • Find More Subreddits: Clicking Find more subreddits now scrolls you to its progress, and the button stays available after each pass.

  • More Accurate Removal Risk: Removal risk now checks whether a thread is actually archived or locked on Reddit instead of guessing from its age.

  • Upvote Order Review: The review step now shows how many upvotes you entered. The stepper also tells you when you reach the limit.

  • Tooltips on Mobile: Info icons now open their tooltip when tapped, and popups stay on screen.
